The Role: Forge Strategic Relationships and Expand Our Impact
As a key member of our Business Development / Partnerships team, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing strategic relationships with crypto projects, L1/L2 ecosystems, DAOs, venture funds, and other key stakeholders. Your efforts will directly contribute to Exchequer's growth, expanding the reach of our innovative financial tools and helping projects overcome their deepest liquidity and treasury challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source partnership opportunities with crypto projects, DeFi protocols, L1/L2 foundations, and other relevant organizations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partners, managing relationships from initial contact through to deal closure and ongoing collaboration.
- Develop and articulate compelling value propositions for Exchequer's solutions tailored to different partner segments.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and terms that align with Exchequer's strategic goals.
- Represent Exchequer at industry events, conferences, and in online communities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to provide market feedback and ensure our solutions meet the needs of our partners.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the DeFi and broader crypto landscape.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services in conjunction with partners.
Who We're Looking For:
- Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or a similar role within the crypto/blockchain/DeFi industry.
- Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, including DeFi, L1/L2 solutions, DAOs, and current market dynamics.
- An existing strong network within the crypto space is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude, capable of working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
- Passionate about crypto's potential and aligned with Exchequer's mission to build a fairer and more sustainable financial foundation.
